Little Deeper is with Dive Charters International: http://www.deeper-dci.com/

For those of you not familiar with Florida geography, Boynton Beach is about 15 miles south of West Palm Beach, which makes it a nice alternative to West Palm diving.

After having dove with "Dive Solutions"

this past weekend, I was not as impressed. They really "cramped" my style! Having to dive with a divemaster who is either bored or cold is no fun. Our last dive was a mere 20 minutes, and I had LOTS of gas and bottom time left (as did all in my group). Thats why I dive with a computer and NitrOx!!! They could improve on pre-dive information too. I like the freedom and the info given to you on the Loggerhead, but hey, as long as I get wet, I love to dive.

Pete,
Your experience falls right in line with the 3 points I made. It is a good boat for beginners and people unfamiliar with Ocean diving. That is why I recommended the Boynton boats. They are ALOT more liberal with bottom times, and they tolerate my long dives without complaint.

I would like to join you....

but being new to the job here they might frown on me taking a day off so early. But I will try. It sounds like a fun time can be had by all.

1 month away

OK - we're 1 month plus 1 day away from this exciting mid-week 2-tank dive trip in West Palm Beach (Tuesday March 5th at 10 AM) - so I figured I'd post and bring this thread back to the top of the list...so far we have the following possible attendees, beside myself:

NetDoc
Bob
Nautical Noble
Swamp Rat
socaldiver (depending on work)

Anyone else care to join us?

Mitigating circumstances...

For those who have not yet heard... I broke my right pinky toe with a tank... I may be ready by then, and I might not. I will keep you up to date, but I don't want to lead you on either!!!

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about the accident Pete - but it could have been worse - you could have injured your toe at work, instead of while diving!

Hope your little piggy is pronounced dive-worthy by next month!

If you are talking about Splashdown in Boynton Beach, I would recommend Loggerhead Charters instead. Same marina, but they are a little more tolerant of long bottom times.
