Dry Tortugas

We just got back from our trip to the Dry Tortugas. It was
wonderful!!! We booked the trip with Getaway Marina. The
Ultimate Getaway was the name of the boat. They took
really good care of us. Food was good. Diving was great!!
All we had to think about was our next dive. 13 dives
3 days. All I would recommend is Nitrox certification.
A few people with us used air only and never violated their
computers. They really work hard to make sure you are
taken care of. Hats off to Capt. Rick Pitts and his crew!!

Hopefully I'll get a chance to go out with them this fall. Sounds like a good bunch.

Ditto on the Ultimate Getaway. I did the Tortugas with them as a last minute fill-in back in 96. They were great then and it sounds like they are still going strong. See any lobsters?

I'd love to do a quick trip like that this fall... although I have no idea where they are. For some reason I'm thinking BVI... Anyone?

The Tortogas are just out from the Florida Keys. I believe the boat mentioned above, Ultimate Getaway, leaves out of Ft. Myers, FL, but I wouldn't swear to it.
