    Dry Tortugas

I am going to dry tortugas with my dad in november and was wondering if there was anyone here on the forum that has been there and if you have what did you think of it?

I've only snorkeled at Fort Jefferson, but would love to dive it. The island, water, fort, history, etc., are just fantastic. I absolutely love the Dry Tortugas.

Who are you diving with? Is it the liveaboard out of Ft Myers?

I've been there several times. It's a great place to dive.

I dove there a few years ago on a liveaboard, but I went back there this spring with the day boat out of Key West with a friend who doesn't like the ocean, so I just snorkled while he watched from the shore and moat wall. I was pleasently supprised how much there was to see along the west moat wall.

Here are some pictures from that trip.
