Hi Guys -

I have a week to kill before I start at a new position...so I'm thinking of tagging along to a friend's trip to Cocoa Beach...but I know nothing about this area.

How's the diving in the vicinity and for this time of year?

Thanks!

Paula

There are virtually no dive charters in the Cape Canaveral area. I know of just one and he takes a fair amount of advance planning to book a trip there.

To the north 60 minutes, you can dive in Daytona with Sea Dogs and to the south by 90 minutes, you'll be in Jupiter/Palm Beach with dozens of operators to choose from.

PM Cudachaser and/or Bill51. They're our resident Cocoa Beach divers. Unless you have your own boat... you need to either go to Daytona or Jupiter/WPB.

Cudachaser is always looking for an opportunity to dive...
