OMIGOD can you imagine if Mini Season was on a weekend when more people could go? It is already crazy enough with people having to take vacation if they normally work those days.
I love mini-season, I tell my boss I need off for my "annual religious holiday", but I go in Broward and it isn't that nuts. Even when I had a house in the Keys, I avoided that area like the plague during mini-season.

It used to be on weekends. That is the reason they changed it... so less people would go.
My ex- and I decided to try mini-season off Miami-Dade county on our Grady-White about four or five years ago, NEVER AGAIN, it was like bumper boats out there. I've done the past three in Broward and it just hasn't been that nutz.
