I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Kevin, I will be moving down to do Florida in May. I'll be living in the Plantation area. I've been down to Ft. Lauderdale a couple times on dive trips, but this time will be different - all my family and friends won't be within 1000 miles. So if there is anyone interested a new dive partner or have any ideas where I can meet some good people, feel free to let me know. Thanks a ton in advance. See you all (under water) hopefully!
Hello Kevin;
Welcome to Florida!
The pool will be open in 2 weeks or so, as it seems that April is always a blowout.
When you hit town give me a shout and perhaps we can meet up and do some shore dives.
I am always looking to meet new folks that like to dive.
I see you are coming here from New Jersey.....that is great news...we are running very low on our supply of Yankees at this time.
More are always appreciated.
Have you signed up for Spanish lessons yet?

I am partial to Coasties and P.J's, because they carry band-aids and are like 911 for Seals, Rangers, Recon, and Pilots.
It's all about fun folks!
I'm up in Jupiter and will be free most weekends if you want to try out the Blue Heron Bridge.
I also drive down to dive LBTS on Saturdays and occasionally a Friday night dive if I get off work early enough.

I started taking classes at McDonalds - so I should be ok. And you can never have to many yanks... lol. Thanks for the offer!
Hi Kevin, welcome!!! There are MANY SB'ers down here to dive with. In addition, I'd like to invite you to come to one of my dive club's meetings (visitors welcome!), to check out Gold Coast SCUBA meetup which is comprised mostly of beach divers, and to check out kayak diving at one of Kayuba's meetings or kayak beach dives.
If you are ever free on Fridays, I frequently dive with Sea Experience and you're welcome to join me. Capt. Bill Cole has about 30 years of experience diving our waters and nobody knows the reefs here better. It's always worth driving to Boynton Beach to dive with Divemaster Of The Year Kev or to Riviera Beach to dive the Blue Heron Bridge! Key Largo is just 90 minutes away so it's nothing to drive down for a dive. You've chosen your location well; some of the world's best diving is just a short drive from your front door.
