Diving and Dive buddy for Janurary 22 and or 23 in the Keys

I am a new diver and am going to be in the Keys for the Bone Island Triathlon (Ironman) in a few weeks. I am looking for any advice on where to dive who to dive with and a dive buddy if anyone is up for it with me.

I am flexible on where to go. It will be my first dive on a trip.

I am currently looking at going with Lost Reef or Captain's Corner and I might do a 1/2 day with each.

That is the easy part. I'm still seeking a dive buddy.

Anyone you go with will likely find you an instabuddy. If you aren't interested in an instabuddy, you may hire a divemaster.

An instabuddy sounds fine with me. I just don't want to get booked on a trip and not have a buddy or an instabuddy to dive with... not sure what I do then.

I'll get something setup before I arrive and hope for the best.
