Weekend got of to a shakey start as double on the USS Rankin with JDC on Friday got cancelled due to high seas. Very disappointing, have not had the opportunity to dive the Rankin

Today did not look so good early as it was lightning, rainy and windy. Luckily, Capt Jim and Loggerhead was the only boat to go out of Boynton Beach Marina. Seas were not bad, about 3-5. We had 2 great dives at Clubhouse and Briney Breezes. Water temp was cool at 72-3 degrees, visibility about 40 feet.

It got a bit nicer this afternoon with seas down to 2-4. Went out with Capt Kevin and Underwater Explorers and did two of my favorite and nicest dives in Boynton Beach, Black Condo and Table Tops. Water was 71-3 degrees, again with about 40 feet visibility.

Today's dives had lots of Nurse Sharks, turtles, lobster, Green and Spotted Morrays, Southern Rays, and all the ususal reef fish Boynton is known for.

Going out tomorrow morning with UE again, hoping for the best day of the weekend, maybe the Castor.

Good diving, Craig

Two great dives this morning with UE. Seas were much calmer than yesterday though a bit windy and cool. First dive on Sharkies Ledge with crossover to Briney Breezes. Second dive on the 75. Visibility a bit better than yesterday, maybe 50 feet. Water temp cool, 72-3 at depth, OK with full 5mm and hooded vest.

Hope to get in 2 more dives in the morning before heading home on Tuesday :D

Luckily, increasing seas held off so that I could get in 2 final dives with UE before heading home tomorrow. Seas were nearly flat but a bit windy. Current switched to mild to moderate south, water temp increased to 76 degrees, vis dropped a little to 30-40 feet. Did Clubhouse and then Black Condo. Several Nurse Sharks, one on Black Condo circled for most of the dive. Southern Rays, Green and Spotted Morays, Lobster and the usual subjests. No turtles today.

Happy getting in 8 dives Saturday-Monday, thanks Jim and Kevin. Planning my return in May.

Good diving, Craig
