I went out of a short time Friday night to see Allen and to use an UW GoPro video rig scooter free diving after dark for the first time. As Allen was resting perhaps sleeping, I felt compelled to keep the two 1400 lumen lights out of his eyes. So, I ended up with a number of rear shots. As I had the footage anyway, I blended in some unusual scooter free diving images from the same dive. I need to work up a video light mount on the monopod if I can do it without inducing too much drag. It looks like it has been a hot summer with bleached Palythoa m. also the coral transplants on the electrified rebar cages don't look too good either perhaps due to related stresses and excess temperatures. Some of the hard corals on the bottom that I noticed didn't look too bad by contrast, fortunately.
