Really great conditions with Friday being much nicer than Thursday and that is saying a lot

Thursday Pickles reef 50/60 feet no current water temp 81. This dive was cut short because of boat constantly zooming over us in 13 ft of water

Davey Crocker(pleasure reef)
Friday was a day for tourism photos!!
Viz was an honest 70 feet of beautiful blue water. water temp 81 and no current again.

great density of fish, multiple eels and just unbelievable diving.

Nicest viz I have seen here in over a year

Nice Parrot cleaning station, juvenile Blueheads?
I dont know but i missed a great
shot of a yellowhead wrasse with a peppermint shrimp cleaning his mouth

sigh........reserve some of those conditions for me in about 3 weeks! Looks like a great day of diving.

GREAT pics! I concur...the diving conditions were absolutely STELLAR. I have never experienced better - we were blessed to have the 3rd Annual Cajun Invasion scheduled at the perfect weather time :D It's payback for 2013 when we hardly got any diving in at all

All of your pictures are great, but I'm wondering if anyone can help explain something to me. I am really interested in learning more about reef fish behavior. Of course, identification comes first. In picture #4, it seems to me that we're seeing a Spotted Drum and a High Hat. If so, I saw the same thing on Friday at Molasses. The two were hanging out together in a small enclosed area, and upon closer examination there was a REALLY tiny juvenile spotted drum swimming back and forth in front of them. I have since been wondering about that arrangement...am I misidentifying the High Hat or do they commonly hang out together???
