Good morning... Rented some tanks from Florida West last night.. Their hours today (Sunday) are 10am-3pm... If the surf is too high for your shore dive, come join my buddy and I over at Lake Denton in Avon Park...

Yip... In Avon Park, FL.. Been there? It was a busy place yesterday - the photo below shows about 1/3 of the divers.. hehe Today was nice diving, but being underwater when the downpour hit was interesting.. It sounded like hail hitting a tin roof..
That looks like a fun place to go during the week! Whats with all the wetsuits?
Looks like they teach a lot of classes there. What's the vis like 1/2 hour after all these guys get in??

Lake Denton is a spring fed lake as is Lake Isis just to the north.
I took one open water class there and have never been back! Gimme the springs (which are closer to me anyway)!
BTW, has Isis been opened up to Scuba Divers again? I had heard rumors that they were discussing it but it's a hike to go just to take a peek.
