Hi,

I’m from New York and I will be going to St. Augustine frequently over the next few months and I am looking for information about diving in that area. I am interested in diving locally in the St. Augustine or perhaps taking a weekend trip somewhere else. I would like to stay within about 3 hours by car from St. Augustine.
Additionally, I am a bit of a novice diver. I have most of the equipment I would need but I would need to rent a tank. Additionally, I would want to find a place where other people are also diving frequently so I could join up with others.
Ideally, I just want to find somewhere were I could just enter from the beach and do some short dives. I really can’t do any all day charters since I will have my lady with me and she probably wouldn’t be to pleased if I spent the whole weekend away.

SeaDogs is just south of Daytona, in New Smyrna Bch. Great boat/crew. St. Augustine has 1 boat, Scuba Charters. SeaHunt Scuba in St. Auggie is an awesome facility, with great people. They offer frequent trips around the state. Beautiful springs nearby, as well. Enjoy!
