    Miami dive op

    Hello,

My wife is going to a conference in Miami for a few five days. I figure I would tag along and take a dive(s) while she is working. Any suggests/ reccomendations on dive operators to go with, that are within walking distance of the fountain blue(sp) hotel.

    Thanks
    Nick

I live just under a mile from the Fontainebleau Hilton. There are no dive operations within walking distance of the hotel. It is possible that the hotel has arrangement with a local dive shop but there is no full dive operation on the premises.

You are about four miles north of the closest Marina where most dive operations run out of, the Miami Beach Marina. I am not sure but I will bet that if you call the dive shop there, they may even come pick you up for your dive outing. If not, I would suspect that cab far is less than ten dollars each way and take about fifteen minutes in traffic.

One operator in that Marina is:

    Tarpoon Skin Dive Center
    Miami Beach Marina
    300 Alton Road #110
    Miami Beach, FL 33139
    (305) 532-1445
