Going to be in Destin June 23-25 (Looking for info)

It looks like I am going to be in Destin June 23-25. I think my wife is booking a room at the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. I plan on diving the 23rd and 24th. I have read about Scubatech being a good outfit to dive with. How far is it from the hotel we will be staying at?

Any other information you can provide will be helpful. It has been a long time since I have been to Destin. When in Florida, we usually end up going to Pensacola.

Holiday Surf and Racquet Club is located on Gulf Shore Drive. From there, drive up Gulf Shore Drive to Hwy98 and head west(left). ScubaTech is located on Hwy 98, I believe its 3 stoplights west of Gulf Shore Dr. Its only like 5-6 miles away.

If you continue down Gulf Shore Drive(away from 98), pass the "S" curve and go 1/2mile further or so, you'll notice a gravel parking section infront of a marine(on the bayside). There is a trail on the beach side, between a beach house and the first white condos that will lead to the Destin Jetties - which is a fun beach dive. Be sure to dive it on high slack tide for best visibility and the least amount of current.

I dove with ScubaTech last year and will definitely be diving with them this year, first class staff and set up. It's like being with family. I will be in Destin June 3rd to June 12th.
