has anyone used the ikelite #3001 accessory case (ACCESSORY CASE) for storing keys, etc?
my "clever" new car doesn't actually have a key hole, so even if i could get a "dumb" metal-only key cut, it would be of no use whatsoever.
my key unit is 70mm x 35mm x 16mm (roughly 2.75" x 1.5" x 0.65" ) so the ikelite case seems the ideal size - but since replacing the key unit is stupidly expensive (not to mention the hassle of breaking into my car) i'd like to be fairly confident of the case working & not getting lost, etc.
any past experiences or alternative suggestions are appreciated
