Just as an FYI you could probably wear a size 4 hyperstretch because it is so stretchy and because you are diving in that area i would recommend the gold core suit over the hyper stretch. Because it would be much warmer than the hyper.

I dive in Seattle and Alaska and need to stay warm but can't afford a dry suit yet. Thanks a bunch.
Just an FYI to anyone looking to buy a Henderson Hyperstretch suit. I just purchased a mens 7MM full suit. I am 6' 208lbs with a 38" waist. Based on the Henderson sizing chart I should wear an XL. The hyperstretch XL was huge on me. To my surprise I ended up fitting nicely into a mens M. I would recommend everyone drop down at least one size when getting a Henderson hyperstretch suit.

They sell both new and used wetsuits and dry suits at reasonable prices. I don't recommend buying a used wetsuit because the neoprene usually is significantly compressed and because the loss of warranty from the manufacturer. You will have a good chance of getting a deal on a used wetsuit at the scuba swap meet on April 9, 2005. More info is posted at the Orca Forum on this website.
I dive in Seattle in a one piece Xcel Polar 976 semi-dry suit with integrated hood and am comfortable for about an hour in 47F water. After that, my hands become numb. My friend has a two piece 7 mil gold core that has probably been through 50 dives and she gets cold before I do. Hopefully, it has nothing to do with fat %.
Good luck.
