Water temperatures around Jeju Island, Korea

    Hello,

I will be diving in Jeju Island in September. I read that Korean water is "cold," but then I saw a chart indicating the water temperature is 80 degrees F in September.

I have a dry suit and a 3mm wet suit. Which should I bring to Jeju?

    Thank you.

I dive quite close to Cheju - in Fukuoka. September is probably as warm as it gets, but I'm not sure if a 3mm would really be enough. I dive 5mm. I'd probably take the dry-suit. Lot's of divers in Japan dive dry most of the time.

At the end of the day we are all going home.

5 mm I recommend. I dived there in October with one piece 7mm with hood and was comfortable.
