Anybody out there know of any good publications about underwater metal detecting? I'd also be interested in hearing about personal experiences, equipment preferences and location choosing advice.

Look to the Fisher 1280, it is a total underwater unit. It will run about 750 to 1,000. Top quality. They also have anumber of publications on the subject. http://www.fisherlab.com
