Information about side scan sonar

I would like to buy or rent a side scan sonar (i prefer used cause i think it costs less money)
The reason is that i want to find a wreck at approximately 80m depth. Can you please help me?
Thank you.

New sidescans are getting cheaper every month, and their features really do **** over old models - the one I describe in this thread is a great little unit, doesn't need a towfish and turned out to be very useful.

What sort of bottom, and how large a search area do you have?

Searching for 'sidescan' and 'side scan' will locate several threads on the subject.

Cheers,
Rohan.
