Hi guys,

I am the owner of a Canon s95 and wp-dc 38 waterproof housing.

I have accidentally scratched the front lens of the housing and I would like to replace it. It appears quite easy to do.

I have contacted Canon in the USA and Thailand where I live and state that they do not supply replacement lenses and have suggested that I purchase a whole new housing

My questions are does anyone know of a company that supplies after market lenses or a manufacturer who make one.

Thanks for your help and happy diving.

Regards,

Will it be noticeable.

Take it out and then to the lens polishing people.

have you tried it in the water? water sometimes "fills" the scratch and makes it very hard to see the scratch in the images.

That is correct, even though the scratch is deep it has not effected the pics. I have been told that it probably wont unless I point the camera towards the sun.

It would be nice though if I could find a replacement.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
