    Question Scubapro X-TEK HARNESS

    Hello,

    I need an advice!

I am going to buy harness and wing. I choose Scubapro. The wing that I choose is donut because is compact:

    SCUBAPRO- X-TEK DONUT WING

But I have dificult to choose harness. I can not decide between X-TEK PRO HARNESS:

    SCUBAPRO- X-TEK PRO HARNESS

    and X-TEK Comfort HARNESS:

    SCUBAPRO- X-TEK FORM HARNESS

Can you advice me? I like the comfort one but it has a lot of buckles and D-rings. And I thing the wing must be simple and clear.

    Thank you in advance!

I personally like my harness as simple as it gets. If you want to stick with Scuba Pro, I'd take option C

SCUBAPRO- X-TEK PURE HARNESS However 350.00 (based on Scuba.com's pricing) seems very expensive to me for a steel plate and hog harness.

the SCUBAPRO Xtek harness is an excellent choice in either the Pure or Form. How thick of a wetsuit are you wearing?

The form is more comfortable due to the padding on the shoulders & back.

The dounut wing is the way to go. Are you going to be travelling with it?

Based on what criteria? Two excellent choices? Which one is preferable, in your opinion?

IMHO, just peddling the noobie myth that hog harness isn't comfortable. Upgrade sales, based on misinformation.

I've dived for the last 8 years using a hog harness, with doubles & stages, on top of a rash guard. Perfectly comfortable.

I've heard the opposite said. Can you explain or clarify your statement?
