A few weeks ago I posted a photo showing what I was assuming was a bad duckbill valve for my Halcyon P-Valve. I put it back together and ordered some spares. The new parts came in and the new duckbills look perfect with no openings. When I took the old duckbill out, it was no longer open and looked no different than the new ones.
Here is a photo of the bad one. I am not exerting any pressure on the valve to make it appear open, this is how it looked when I would sit it on a bench too.
My guess is that when in use, it opens up and won't close, hence my little inside leak problem.
