    Need Good Slate Pencil Etc...

    I have a arm 3 piece slate. The pencil it comes with is barely readable.
    Any recommendations on a pencil etc...that writes on slates dark enough to see......Thanks...

    I like the "pop-a-point" pencils available at Target (I'm sure they're available elsewhere). They're a plastic pencil that has multiple tips in it. When one gets dull, you pull it out and push it in the back, which pushes the next tip out.

    No metal parts at all.

    try this

    Carpenter's pencils are popular. They're very durable, and you can sharpen them with your dive knife. They also write dark enough for wood (of course). They cost like fifty cents apiece at Home Depot.
