Hello,
I am about to start diving this summer and I need to purchase equipment.
I will be doing 2 underwater activities:
1. Diving for recreation
2. Snorkeling and fishing underwater with my dad.
My (theoretical) equipment requirements:
1 full set for diving + snorkeling
1 full set for snorkeling only
2 weapons + whatever you believe is needed for naiuling fish underwater.
The sets need to be with budget in mind to the point where it's reliable and comfortable, but not spoils and unneeded stuf for a novice.
My dads has glasses so the mask should be suiteble for optics.
We live in israel where the weather is warm most of the year, I can get by without diving in the winter.
I don't need tanks, I will be renting those.
I would like to use a wrist diving computer, but not a fancy one, just one that gives the needed functions.
Me and dad are both tall.
Also, If you are from Israel, please advice on places to purchase the equipment.
I am currently very fond of Mares since I used it during the course, but that's just my POV.
Any advice is appreciated,
many thanks, Dean.
