I will be completing my OW dives at the end of September. I do not think that I want to buy my gear as of yet but I am kind of uneasy about the rental equipment. I have several questions. I currently have only my personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins, boots)
1. After how many dives do most people start to add to their equipment?
2. Are you able to rent gear that you may be wanting to buy or do you have to go with the shop's general selection?
3. How much does the cost of rental gear run? How many dives until the break even point is where you should think about purchasing your own gear?
