So, how do you all ID a stroke? Please give real world examples, without ID'ing the perp :eyebrow:

Here's mine:

You are chatting with someone on the boat and you hear the following all in one sentence; "couldn't find a buddy" "solo" and "hunting".

ok i'm sure this thread wil get pulled, but here goes:

the bungees on my wing keep it nice and streamlined so I can mount my pony bottle to my backplate better.

I hope not. I'm serious. It would be good for newer divers to know some of the things to look for when being buddied up on boats and such.

BTW, they also keep all that extra air out :eyebrow:

Rhad.

The one who says "you're not Doing it Right, you know?"
Guaranteed dangerous.

It's now a tie.

1) "I cave dive because it scares the s**t out of me"
2) Noticing them start a thread about 'strokes' in an equipment forum.
HHHhhhhaaarrrrr!
Good'n, Jeff.
You know you'd better move south soon - fixin' to get cold up there.
Rick :)

ROFLMAO. Guilty as charged.

OK. I can no longer dive with myself. Thought I was in the General Scuba forum. Can someone PLEASE move it over there!

fixin? I had to wear long pants today; and I just turned on the heat as we'll be hitting 34 tonight. Unfortunately there isn't much of a housing market down there at the moment!

And to prevent a complete hijack.. I almost forgot my new favorite:

"Doubles and deco bottles? Safety Divers? Don't you think you guys are taking this a little too seriously? We have safety bottles hung at 20, 70 and 140" - During gear up for an air dive to 165
