No, I'm not rinsing my gear in molten lead.

I was soaking my wetsuit after a dive today and started to wonder about the lead weights I use to keep it submerged. They are uncoated. Is there a significant risk that lead could damage the neoprene or (worse) remain on the suit until the next time I dive with it?

Just curious.

I suppose the offshore sewage outflow nearby that I try not to think of is more damaging than a bit of lead. :D
