Interesting that they are actually using that in some places. A while back, I heard they wanted to use that in MIA & FLL, but there were complaints and threats of law suits over the privacy issue.

I say, wear clean underwear and let them scan away. As long as they scan everybody.

If they blur out certain private areas, then wouldn't someone just hide whatever they were trying to hid in one of the private areas?

Between the puffer test, the chemical swabs on your bags, xrays, occasional pat downs, having to get half undressed, and not allowing any liquids on planes it is all getting to be a bit much. That said, I am gald we aren't seeing planes getting blown out of the air. I guess you have to take one for saftey.

The answer is put everyone to sleep before the flight load you on and wake you up the other end, no security risks they could load hundreds of more people on each flight and no anoying screeming kids.
The drawback must be the bagadge handlers though think of the bruises you would get, and it brings a whole new concept to lost baggage, you could end up anywere.

Think I will have a T-shirt made with some slight metal thread and have a bird sewn into the shirt....and i dont mean a robin.

In addition, the system will be configured so that the X-ray will be deleted as soon as the individual steps away from the machine. It will not be stored or available for printing or transmitting.
Til they screen their first Supermodel or Pornstar.

Actually the way it will be installed in T4, it won't be for connecting flights just people leaving from here. Like me.

Yes, but prints will be available in the gift shop located in your terminal. :11:

There is a whole thread about this technology on flyertalk.com. As someone who has been subjected to this technology, I would never agree to this type of x-ray at the hands of some TSA screener. These shots are actually so detailed that it is customary to have someone of the same sex reviewing the scan. For example, the image picks up tampons, implants, IUDs and other similar medical devices.

Again, I'm comfortable with my doctor having this information, but not some TSA'er.
