Hello. My girlfriend and I would like a diving holiday in January and were wondering what Dahab would be like? Is the diving good, weather nice etc? And if it's worth going at that time of year, would anyone recommend a specific dive operator or place to stay? Thanks very much.

Dahab is always worth going. In january temperature during the day is around 24 - 26 Centirgrades, but it drops in the night - jumper is needed. As for dive centre and acomodation - depends on what sort of dives you want and how much money you have.
I love Hilton Hotel there, and diving centre in Planet Divers - they are mostly focused on technical divers but not only, of course. They also have thier own hotel which is very cheap.

i can recomend MIRAGE VILLAGE, it has its own divecenter direct on the beach, rooms are all comfortable and it has a very relaxed atmospher,

you can also have privat diving ifyou dont like or want to dive with other folk,,
and would definetly recomend going in january, the weather is a bit ruff some times but still very diveable,as mania said take a pullie for the evening, and when you come out of the water,,have a great time if you decide to go,,,i love dahab,,and if you want a beer have sakara,,much better than stella,
