Weekend Trip Extension in San Jose Costa Rica - What would you do?

Howdy all! I am planning a M-F business trip to San Jose, Costa Rica, and as I have never been there, am looking to extend the trip to include the weekend.Of course, I am not bound to stay in San Jose for the weekend, but would of course need to make it back to San Jose on Sunday to fly home.

So, given this small window of opportunity, what would you recommend I do to get a dive or two in?

Diving from San Jose, the quickest and easiest is to come down to Manuel Antonio and dive. Its about 3 hours away. if you could i would dive Cano island.
