    Question Abaco Dive options

We are going to Abaco in April and am looking for recommendations for the best Dive Op. I am an experienced diver and really enjoy nice wall dives. Ideally I would like to go out early and be back to the dock early. The rest of the family will not be diving so I go alone and if it is too long it can be a problem. We are staying in Treasure Cay but will have a car so going to Marsh Harbour is an option.

    Thanks

I'd recommend Brendal's on Green Turtle. Depending on where you're staying on Treasure, he might be willing to pick you up by boat in the mornings. Don't expect walls like San Sal or Andros, but Brendal is a pro and will make sure you see the best of the Abacos.

I can second this recommendation. Brendal is a pro and is also darn entertaining. FWIW... he makes a mighty fine conch ceviche.

If you're going to be in or around Marsh Harbour (Guana Cay, Elbow Cay (Hope Town), Man-O-War or Lubber's Qtrs, etc., I'd recommend Dive Abaco, www.diveabaco.com. It is located at the Conch Inn & Marina and has been around for nearly 30 years. As you know, longevity says ALOT in the diving industry. Keith, a crazy Canadian, is the owner/operator and he's a hoot. He's runs a first class operation with a well maintained boat, good air and quality equipment rentals. And he's very receptive to the type of dives you want to do. Have fun!

I agree regarding Brendal on both counts. We stayed at Green Turtle Club and dove with him for a week. Nice, shallow, long dives and good service. Yes, his ceviche is good, too.
