    Wedding at a dive resort

I'm looking for a nice dive resort in the Carribean that will do a nice beach wedding. There will probably be 20 couples going also.
The resort also has to be kid friendly. Anyone have any ideas?

    bonaire for the wedding

No idea if there are any local wedding planners but Plaza Resort Bonaire has a great beach for the wedding (check out attached pic)...not to mention fantastic diving!

    Cheers.

    Dive Wedding

We were married at the Grand Lido in Negril Jamaica. Did my first dives there also.
Great resort but may not be good for kids as the clothing optional beach is very popular there. It is kind of away from the main resort buildings.

But the wedding was included in our package and the wedding planner there takes care of everything. At the time we were there, you got a cruise on Princess Grace's yacht. I don't think that is there now.

Last time we were down there we went by and they had a new dive boat. Sandals is cool also, but not for kids.

Got to go with Johnny's recommendation, the Plaza on Bonaire.

Try Small Hope Bay Lodge on Andros Island, Bahamas. (Okay, it's not really the Caribbean but it's still a remote island). They market to wedding groups and offer a free "discover scuba" experience to all guests. Kids are welcome.

Wherever you look, many of the nicest wedding venues may not have 21+ rooms available unless you book far in advance.

Define "nice" please. As in nice weather, nice diving or Ritz-Carlton nice?

Also how many non-divers are in the group. They'll be way bored on Bonaire. Might consider Curacao near Willemsted as an alternative - it's basically the same diving with more surface stuff to do.

Pricier options would be the Hyatt or Marriott on Grand Cayman or something on Grace Bay on Provo - Turks/Caicos. There's some really nice beaches on Virgin Gorda in the BVI's - Little Dix Bay resort is on one of them, but non-divers would be bored to tears there.

Isn't there only something like 20-21 rooms at Small Hope Bay Lodge? We couldn't get in there last summer so I doubt they'd make be able to make the whole place available.
