I'll be at Horizon Divers in January for IDC training and Tom told me that he will be in a drysuit while teaching the course. I just got my drysuit certification for two reasons; taking the IDC in Key Largo in January and going to Iceland in the late spring. DIVE.IS - Scuba Diving in Iceland - PADI Dive Center Iceland

Silfra would be awesome, and airfare is pretty cheap from DC.

Damn this is tempting! I had no idea it would be so cheap from DC. I always thought Ice Land as a destination makes more sense if you go during the summer. The green landscape is so "Lord of the Rings." Airfare could get more expensive though. Thanks for the info Dave.

Seriously, everywhere in the US IS a drysuit dive.

One of these days I'll get to some of those wrecks in the Great Lakes.

+1 California (SoCal is where I learned to drysuit dive), NorCal & PNW are on my to-do-list. Kelp forrests are GREAT as well as oil rigs.
Also on my list are the Thousand Islands in NY/CAN. (Just ask the DNYers).
Bonne Terre - definitely drysuit and also on my to-do-list (after hearing about Netdoc's exploits)

Don't forget about all the FL springs/caverns/caves with consistent 68ish temps.

So many choices, not enough vacation days
Mselenaous - So nice to hear from you!!! Norcal and Socal are both on my dives to do list. Florida not so much. Since I dive Florida in 3mm all year round, purchase of a drysuit should come with a new destination
