Big Grin location suggestions & tips for new(ish) parents long overdue for a vacation

Greetings all! My lovely husband & I were certified to dive several years ago and even went on a dive trip to St. Croix, which was lovely. Then we had a baby, life got in the way, etc. etc. & - we haven't gone diving in a LONG time. We're trying to get our act together to go somewhere this year, and I was hoping to crowdsource for advice!

We would depart from Boston. Hoping to head somewhere not too crazy/tricky to get too (we honeymooned in Bonaire, and that was a nutty trip!), and of course, not pricey. We're not talking about a trip of a lifetime here, but a quick down & dirty here's some nice water with things to see go dive in it!

Hope this makes sense. Would love to hear about some thrifty trips you've taken. Am considering a cruise to Bermuda, for a start.

    Thank you so much!!

    Welcome to Scubaboard!
I get it...life happens and tends to get in the way. I do recommend a refresher course, locally or upon arrival at your destination, just to get back into the swing of things.

So as for affordable destinations, do check out this two awesome trips (you won't find a better deal for these destinations than a Scubaboard Event).

There are two GREAT Scubaboard Events on the calender for next year! The prices are incredible and you couldn't have more fun on a trip than with a gang of fun-loving Scubaboarders!

    Easy to get to
    Not expensive
    Very good diving
    COZUMEL.

Take a look at Scuba Club Cozumel if the dates in the previous post won't work for you.
SCC is close to town so that you can either do the AI plan or walk into town for whatever you want.
It is a very good place to stay for your "first trip" to Cozumel.
