Our very own Scubaboarder Natasha (Escapeartist) has launched a project called The Unjust & Us - A Love Letter to Your Killer and is asking for your support in spreading the word. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theunjustandus/the-unjust-and-us-a-love-letter-to-your-killer
From their website, The Unjust and Us
Having had two family members killed in violent crimes in South Africa, extreme athlete Dr. Andries Botha and his daughter, broadcast journalist Natasha Horrelt are teaming up to travel from Cape Town to Cairo. Dr. Botha will be cycling the entire journey.
This cross-Africa journey will profile Dr. Bothas struggle to let go of his murdered brother and Natashas journey to come to peace with her cousins killers. Working with a team of documentary filmmakers, journalists and support crew, they will profile people across the continent who have parlayed their experience with crime into lives of hope and advocacy.
This feature-length documentary will showcase the enduring human spirit. It is a love letter to our family's killers to encourage rehabilitation and to push for longlasting change.
We would be honoured if you would follow our team of documentary filmmakers and journalists as we find peace in our pain.
