hey guys,
just wondering what your thoughts are on the contour gps or contour plus?
in terms of the gps inbuilt does anyone know if it works underwater to review your dive and see where you've been?
And should i go go pro hero 2 or contour plus

GPS does not generally work underwater.
Since water blocks the radio frequency used for GPS triangulation, GPS is considered pretty useless for SCUBA divers.

There are some Scuba specific GPS systems on the market but I'd doubt if the Contour has one of them given it's price. The way they work is either via an attached float tethered to the device or a free-floating receiver that transmits down to the GPS unit carried underwater. examples:

I don't think the Navimate has been released yet either.

Yeah didn't think it would, thought i might as well check,
cheers
