Hope everyone is having a great Holiday season! In order to satiate my dive craving here in the off season my dad and I put this video together of our first free dive together after getting certified this last fall. Not only is it our first free dive, it is also the first time shooting, editing and piecing together a GoPro video. We made this to torture the family with at Christmas. (No talking for the first viewing!)

Anyway, let me know what you think. Looking forward to getting wet again soon!

very cool video. Nicely edited and fun to watch.

There surely is a lot of stuff down there :)

Which video editing software did you use?

I used GoPro Studio. Very easy to use and pretty intuitive, the audio editing leaves a lot to be desired though.

Feeding frenzy!

Nice job!!

Nice vid! What gopro poles were you using?

We made custom poles using Targus monopoles. All we had to do was swap the ends and attach a GoPro mount. It's sturdy, works underwater and easily collapsed for travel. I've seen comparable items going for well over $100 and we made these for less than $25. I even made a backup just in case.

This is the very last rendition with some minor edits and audio fixes in case anyone happens to care.
