    Tobermory

    Hey all,

    Heading to tobermory on memorial day weekend. Looking for some infomation on what charters to go with. Also should i book my dives now or chance it on a walk on charter. Any info would be great. Thanks guys and gals.

    I was up there a couple of years ago. I did a live aboard though. The Dawnlight.
    I don't think I would go up and just try to get on a boat.
    If your instructor doesn't care about you enough to ask you where you are coming from, they aren't going to be able to take you where you want to go.

    Tobermory...

    ....is usually not all the busy until Memorial Day. You can usually get a 'walk-on" but on a holiday weekend it might be tough to find a seat. Contact the guys at Divers Den and see what they have available. Good folks those....
