You're caught up in the internet, you think it's such a great asset,
but you're wrong, wrong, wrong,
All that fiber optic gear still cannot take away the fear like an island song.....
Jimmy Buffett "Holiday"
I was within a few miles of Mermet this weekend. We were driving to Cerulean Springs, and most of the damage we saw was a ways further south. In the area near Mermet we didn't see any evidence of tornadoes. But man, further south on the highway it we could clearly see the path of a tornado. Lots of tree damage and debris.
Also, some of the guys we dove with this weekend at Cerulean dove Mermet on Friday. They didn't mention any damage, but said the rains caused some major-bad vis above the first thermocline.
