I just returned from an extended weekend diving trip in NY. Did 2 wrecks on Lake Erie for $50 and drift diving the Niagara river is FREE!!! (no dive master incl of course) I stayed on Grand Island NY at the KOA which is a great site with cabins that sleep four for around $50 a nite (elec, showerhouse etc...)Theres a Holiday Inn on Grand Island as well but over all if you are looking for a cheap trip...this was fantastic...water temp in River and above thermo in lake was 70.
