Their web site says 50 at the surface and 50 at I think 25'.

I'm going over with some others from my LDS on the 8th of May so I hope we get a WHOLE LOT of warm sunshine by the time the 8th comes around. My wet suit is a 5-4-3 and the coldest I have been in is 68 degrees.........

Do body parts fall off if you get too cold???

They only fall off if you bump them on anything after you get out of the water. Your wetsuit may be a little on the thin side for the 8th, but I guess it all depends on what you consider cold. I used a 7mm last year when the water at 50' was around 58 degrees. It was a little bit chilly, but tolerable. I've gotta get over to Haigh soon. A few more weekends like this last one, and the water should warm up nicely.

On Sunday:
In the deep end:
vis: 30-40 ft
temps: 43-52F

In the shallow end:
vis: 20-25ft
temps: 52-53F

Saw a lot of 7mm wetsuit divers. Air temps were in the 80's. The deep hole was a little silted up, but wuz fine when u left the area around the descent line.

I was also @ France State Park.
vis: 10-15ft
temps: 57F

Midwestdiver,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread.

My LDS is Midwest Diving Specialists in Normal, IL. (That's where Illinois State University is)

I'm going to be meeting them there instead of driving up with the group. I'm buddying up with a friend that lives about 30 miles east of Bloomington/Normal and we'll just continue from there. What is your LDS and where is it?

Jeff
