"cant miss the dream " i am open for anything lets try and make it fun maybe some where none of us have been or a rec in one of the big ponds again i am open or any thing
I'm new to this site, but a long time diver. I've been looking for a dive buddy since last fall when my regular buddy moved to Cleveland. I'm not too sure about this weekend (9/4/04), but I'd like to get back into the water soon. I'm located in White Lake, which is just a bit west of Pontiac. I figure you're about 45 minutes away. I have a boat, and all of my gear, so I can go just about anywhere, any time.
sounds great i am going diving in alpena this weekend and next weekend on mack island but any weeknight or any weekend after the next two call me any time
Good deal, I'll give you a call. Have a great dive in Alpena. My brother lives on Thunder Bay, and I've done some fishing there, but I've never done any great lakes diving. Alpena has a lot to offer, a lot of wrecks and usually pretty calm seas as long as no east wind. I would imagine the vis has got to be about as good as it gets. Anyway, have a great time and I'll call soon.
[quote=Tiny Bubbles]Gavin, I can go to Portage or elsewhere on Saturday IF I get blown out of Lexington. I hear they're sinking another car down there (at Portage) so it should be a barrel of fun.
Yes, there is a plan to sink another vehicle at Portage this weekend - a van actually... just FYI

Are you one of the new guys that was at the sea junkies meeting?
Yes they are sinking a van Saturday the 11th, but I don't think I can make it down for that. edit: I just might make it down for that, and/or the picnic Sunday, if I get blown out of Sanilac Sunday.

I am in Lansing and always looking for people to go dive with. Are you diving this weekend? I am talking to some people GLWDivers who are diving in Ohio. A friend and I may dive someplace else. I like to try and get out during the week for a couple of dives.
I was told you could only dive in Lke Fenton by boat now, is that the case? I am looking for dives not far from Lansing that can be done during the week, any idea's?
How did your trip go, I have been wanting to make some dives in that area. I am in Lansing and looking for dives each week. Any info you have would be a great help.
