I will be sailing for a week out of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, in mid-December. I need to find a store that has well-maintained equipment that I can rent for the week. I'm a PADI instructor and want to pick up four tanks, and hopefully some kind of temporary rack, because the boat isn't fitted to carry tanks.
I'm also looking for recommendations for dives around the East side of Puerto Rico. We'll be particularly sailing around Icacos and Palomino, and Vieques. I love overheads / interiors / swim-throughs such as wrecks, caverns and cenotes. I also love turtles and anything with a lot of color.
The focus of the week is mainly sailing, so I'll probably get in at most 6-8 dives, so please recommend THE BEST.
(BTW, any recommendations on how to get back on board a sailing boat that is not designed for diving?)
(and p.s. any comments on weather in PR in December?)
