diving sandals jamaica

Going to Jamaica (Sandals) in a couple of weeks. We're taking advantage of the included diving and wondered if anyone had brought their own gear. The resort offers "all gear provided" with the included diving. If you did use your own gear and dove multiple days, would the resort store it for you? Or, would you have to haul it back to your room every day? Any risk of theft?
