What are the chances of spotting the superb nudibranch hypselodoris picta in the Caribbean, with special onus on Bonaire, Saba or St Kitts? It is black (or dark purple) with bright yellow stripes, mainly found in the Mediterranean Sea but also in the Atlantic, according to the information I obtained. Has anyone seen this in the Caribbean?

Hypselodoris picta is now Felimare picta per WormS. Range includes Gulf of Mexico, but no mention of greater Caribbean. Sea Slug Forum shows Western Atlantic and Caribbean. Only photo I have is from the gulf - Panama City. Have seen photos and reports of them on wrecks off NC
as well.

I have seen Hypselodoris edenticulata (could be felimare now too, not sure) several times off of SE FL. Looks very similar to the picture above. Not something that you see on every dive, but they are around.
