Stayed at the Airport Inn in 2001. It has a bed & bathroom as Delhi needs - in fact 2 double beds per room & a bathroom with hot water. Also AC. Think it cost around US$70-80 a double a night. Turn right out of the airport & it's about a 3 min walk. They do free shuttles to & from the beach - I dived at Turtle Cove so they took me there & picked me up. There's an inexpensive local restaurant in the airport "plaza" below the inn & several local Dominican/Haitian bars on the road away from the airport past the inn.
Thanks for the clarification. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
FYI, we ended up staying at the Turtle Cove Inn, a very pleasant and relatively inexpensive (~$99/night) place close to some good restaurants and bars.
