If cool people are involved, and getting wet is part of the game we are game.
We were looking at Lauderdale By The Sea as an option.
I don't know about the "cool" part, but I'm interested in the Blue Grotto .... or Lauderdale BTS .... or Boynton. I can do Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or any combo.
BTW, how many is "we" in the "We are looking"?
Somebody come up with a plan and let me know. WooHoo !!

My only thing with Blue Grotto is that I will NOT go into that cave on the bottom, absolutely positively NOT!
I'm curious. What cave on the bottom are you referring to? Blue Grotto does have a cave, but it is a separate entrance and not open to divers (except sometimes Full Cave divers). Other than that, are you talking about the entrance that starts behind Peace Rock? That is not considered cave, but rather cavern.
They went into whatever part bottoms out around 100 feet. There was an opening on either side of the Grotto. They entered on the bottom left and exited on the bottom right. Cave, cavern, whatever it is, I'm not doing it and this was their first dive after OW cert so they DEFINITELY shouldn't have done it.
Weatherwise, it's starting to look like north of Tampa is the best bet for Saturday and maybe north of Gainesville for Sunday. Keys look bad after Friday and Boynton looks iffy too. Haiti and Domican Republic are gonna' get whacked by tomorrow.
