I have plans of visiting a friend in Tampa, Fl next month. I never dove in that area of FL (only the panhandle, keys, & springs). My wife & I were wondering what the typical dive conditions were around October? (Visibility mainly)… Are there any natural reefs around the Tampa area or all of them artificial wrecks and structures? Could you guys recommend a couple boat operators in the area?

Thanks

The best dive op on the left coast is Capt. Ty and the Barbara Lee (you can PM him here on the board).

Cheers.

Keep in mind, even though you are visiting Tampa, I doubt any of your diving will actually be in or even out of Tampa. You want to look west of Tampa in Pinellas county or possibly Pasco county.
