Looking for a military sponsor (18-21 August)
Hi everyone -- I'm a lobster diver (and US soldier) deployed to Iraq and suddenly came upon an opportunity to take a 4 day pass to Qatar. I know that there is a sponsor program that would offer me the chance to get away from the strictly controlled "relaxation" programs and bus tours, but you kinda need, er, a sponsor.
Are there any military folks out there stationed at Qatar, who'd be willing to sign me out? I promise dinner, good travel stories, and a place to crash at my home in Asia on your next dive vacation out east. Just looking for a couple hours out, not the entire time.
