From e-mails and posts I have seen elsewhere, Al Boom will be re-opening the Scuba Dubai premises, complete with workshop. I have heard that Stevie will be running it/looking after it for them
Good news that Stevie is still going to be working here, he has been servicing my gear for the past 14 years.
Al Boom seem to be gaining a monopoly in UAE though, pity Peter who owns the Atlantis Dive Centre, did not manage to do a deal for that place, we need more competition.
On the other hand perhaps Stevie will be able to apply some better QC and training for the existing Al Boom technicians as I have heard albeit second hand, nothing favourable regarding their servicing of rigs last year
